Default Hawaii Pics from our recent vacation! (56k jump into an active volcano and swim)

Hey guys, back in early April the g/f and I spent a week in Hawaii (Oahu). I picked up a new Panasonic (DMC-FX01) digi cam with 6 meg pixels before we flew over there. Very impressed with this camera and the 28mm wide angle shooting seems pretty cool. It has a Lumix lens with two stabilization features (good for me cuz I suck at shooting). lol Of course, it comes with numerous features and settings which I'm still learning. Anyway, here are some pics from our trip. Enjoy

First 3 pics were from our balcony over looking the pool and beach.

Awesome.. Good to know. The sales person was saything something similar put I thought it was more of a "sales pitch" to get me to buy the camera. lol I just like how small it is and the large LCD screen.

Awww man... We went the first week in April and i did not rain one day there. We flew in just after the major rain storms.

The area is about 30 miles west of Waikiki. About 15-20 mintues west of the airport. I believe the area is called Ko Olina. We stayed at the JW Ihilani Marriott Resort & Spa. We liked that area so much that we ended up buying a very expensive time share in the same location.

It was incredible... I've been to Hawaii 4 times and this time around was 100x better being away from the crowded Honolulu area. It felt like we had the entire beach/lagoon to ourselves.
