Okay so I called lexus and I called the dealership and I still have not been able to get a straight answer from ANYONE. Does anyone know when the hks exhuast will be available? and how much?

uh are you sure? it's still on the website under "price/options" at the very bottom of the page. I called lexus and all they would say is "spring of 2006"

The website clearly states on http://www.lexus.com/models/is/price_options.html that it's coming in spring '06. Maybe the person you spoke to isn't aware of it, that doesn't mean it's not coming.

I'm aware that it's comming in spring of 06 but they werent able to give me ANY information on it and isnt spring in about 2 weeks? shoudlnt they have already been shipped? any who I was wondering about details... anyone know of a price?

try calling another dealer, or several. also, it doesn't say day one of spring, it could be the end of spring before it comes out. the only way to know is to call..

either way it doesn't matter. hks will make the exhausts regardless. : )

It really depends on the manufactuer of it. You can get full titanium exhausts for S2000's way under $1000, but you can also get them for over $2000.

Not to sound like too much of an idiot, but I've never upgraded a stock exhaust. What is the main benefit of the HKS over stock exhaust: sound, performance or both?

both, the IS exhaust is very restrictive, a true dual exhaust needs to be created for larger gains
