Looks like they're coming out with the new 30D. Same sensor, just a few new features.

Of interest to me is the new 85 1.2L lens. Faster focusing! Should be a great help in indoor sports...

The new EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS lens will be a hot item for the 20D/30D/Rebel cameras.

They've kept the pixel level the same as the 20D...8mp. 12.8mp for the 5D though...

30D is a mild upgrade to the 20D. I'd love to have the much larger LCD on the back though.

Percy as for the 5D and 12.8MP, it's a very different camera as you know, being MUCH more expensive, full frame but with a slower and fewer multi-shot capture capability. I'll stick with my 20D!

Gotta agree with you there. I've shot with the 20D as well as the 5D...like the faster frame rate of the 20D. 5D just felt...s...l...o...w...!

Now I just wish that canon would wake up and put 16 bit TRUE a/d converters in there. They're currently using 12 bit converters from Analog Devices, the AD9235. It's a low cost solution. Oops...canon probably didn't want me telling that one.
