Question IS350 Turbo???

Are there any turbo kits available for the IS350? If so what are they performance gains and anything else.

If no turbos out what about superchargers? Thanks

P.S. this is my first post, so if there is info on this site anywhere about this please give me the link.

nope, but i wouldn't mind seeing a stroker kit bumping up the displacement to a 4.0L V6. chances are the is250 would be boosted before the is350.

Welcome to Clublexus. I suggest you use the SEARCH feature, as you would have found your answer.
1. No kits turbo or S/C available.
2. I doubt it will happen ANY time soon b/c
A. High compression ration
B. Trickier ECU
C. Dual VVTi

The car is a techno marvel. It will be tougher and tougher to just slap F/I in cars today and of the future.

if IS350's 306hp is not enough to satisfy your appetite, there is a higher performance variant (the rumored IS500) down the road to go against the likes of M3 and S4.

Default compression ratio

According to Road & Track, the compression ratio of the 3.5 liter engine in the IS350 is 11.8:1

11.8:1 damn that was higher than my type-r. You could prolly throw on bolt ons and cams for some sweet all motor madness. Imagin popping the hood and seeing ITB's on a lexus

I have no doubts that within 1 year you will be able to get Turbo kit with piggy back ecu like Emanage. If stock 2zz with higher compression ratio and 4cly engine can be boosted safely, no reason for at least IS250 not to.

And since it is released in Japan as well, I bet there will be kits from there for IS350 at least...

and VDIM will? VDIM has absolutly nothing to do with turbo, and it is a LOT LESS obtrusive system than TRC and VSC on older Lexus's which could not be turned off either...

With that high C/R i think headers, exhaust, light weigh pullies, cams, ported heads and intake manifold, larger TB, tuning and 75-100 wet shot of NOS is the way to go. These mods should put the car around 350HP N/A and 450HP on NOS.
