Those two were certainly spouting off and a lot of it was ridiculous.
Just like the countries of Western Europe, Canada and the U.S. need eachother whether they like it or not.
As 'proud' as Canadians are of their country and them thinking it's more civilised [sic] than the U.S., LOADS of Canadians own property in Florida but very few Americans have any interest in owning property in Canada!
And Canada's population is similar to California's, but which is more innovative? Besides Blackberry's, Canada doesn't innovate much at all. They're happy to sell wood, oil, and like stuff to the U.S. and rake it in.
Oh and as I've reported here, the nationalized healthcare system they love so much is falling apart.
Oh and they don't provide any incentive to own a home (no mortgage interest deduction).
Oh and that 15.5% sales tax in Ontario is kind of annoying.
