Wish I went...I have to wait until next August now, LETS GO NYC!! (At least get the LexFest bid, since you couldn't hold down the Olympics  )
I doubt it will be NYC, thats really far north for the southerners. I think Baltimore/D.C. is the perfect middle point. I'll be there next year, already blocked off the entire month of August.

NYC is definitely out. the plan is to alternate north and south to give members on each end of the coast opprotunity to go who normally wouldn't go that far to go since it's not as far then as it was the previous year. most likely, it will be a southern state such as north carolina, south carolina, georgia, etc. while it hasn't been formalized, dave and i did talk about it so before the event was even over the next one had begun to be planned.
