Interesting info regarding 2007 LS460/600h and V8 IS
Forwarding this from a my.is thread. If this Kevin Yamamura guy is really the deputy research director at Toyota Motors in Japan as he says, we have some very credible info for the next LS and the super IS!

Yep, interesting info, read the same link in the LS430 forum. He also claimed he's working on a new Toyota Century, could it possibly become the ultra lux model above the LS ?

Toyota employees/engineers are not at liberty to give out classified information like that, they can get fired. If you do a Google search on that name and Toyota, the Sacramento Bee comes up. Could be purely coincidental but i'm skeptical of this info. But if it's credible, more power to us and the consumers.
Please remember this is only a small portion of the many equipment that would employ on the LS sedan and it’s unlikely I would release more information any time soon about the .This is because not only I would get trouble from the management by releasing too many information on the sedan. But more importantly it would lose all the surprises and public anticipation of the sedan, which is not a marketing strategy at all.

If he was paid to do it, he wouldn't have made the quote above that AmethySC posted.
It's all psychological. If he didn't make that quote, people wouldn't think it's legit. Dude ain't got nothin to worry about, he didn't even give any thing worthwhile away. By saying what AmethySC quoted, it keeps all the nosy people from asking more, yet he achieves his goal of teasing the public and getting their attentions. It's brilliant, unfortunately it didn't fool me.
I took it as baiting. Some of the speculation and leaks that occur in the photography industry has a similar feel. Could also be a fictitious name that they will use to track information as it wanders the grapevine.
One of my marketing buddies had set up similar scenario to see what audiences were receiving the info. Once they knew, they could go directly to specific segments and research.
