I am being told that Zaino is murder to apply, something about using "bar clay" first etc (granted the results were fantasic or so they say). What's the truth, my 2000 Silver is in great shape, have used Zymol with very good results but if Zaino is "wet" one I am all for it, but I don't want to kill myself either. Please advise.

zaino has a lot of steps, but you don't have to take them all. how much time are you used to spending per month right now? silver cars never get the wet look of darker ones.

Zaino is good stuff. I use it on my GS and LS and my brother uses it on his 330. Clay bar is optional; mostly to get dead bug stains and rain water stains and the like out of your paint. There are really just two or three steps. First, you wash your car with dishwashing detergent to get rid of any previous wax jobs you may have had. Then you'll apply a first layer that creates a better lasting bond between the paint and the wax. Next comes the first layer of wax. You can be done at this point, as the car already looks much improved. For those of us more inclined to do so, you can apply a second layer of wax (different from the first) that is even shinier. To complete, you can use a solution that gives the wax a "wet" look. All in all, your first time application will take the most number of steps.

Zaino is good sheet.
