Just finished a 730 mile day in my 06 GS430. I was surprised that I got and average of 26.7 MPG on my last tank . All freeway driving at 70-75 MPH. Set my 18" Yokohama Run Flats on 33 PSI and had a very enjoyable ride. The new GS actually rode as well as my 98 GS on 16" wheels on some pretty rough roads.

That is astounding. BTW, how many miles on your GS now? ODO Shot please!

Good for a V8, I'm sure the 6 speed tranny helps too

That is great news. The GS is an all-around car and with gas prices soaring, this is another reason to buy. Toyota has always been concerned (with Honda) with the environment and top gas milage, kudos to both.
