Mark Levinson w/ Navigation System $4,030
Rear Spoiler $200
Rain Sensing Wipers/Headlamp Cleaners $225
Power Tilt &Slide Moonroof $1,000
Power Rear Sunshade $210
Ventilated Front Seats $200
Intuitive park Assist $500
$57,490 plus LDA and Destination.
There is also run flats and PCS, but it appears they aren't building those.
And for those of you who did not like the look of the GS rim, a "G-Spider" 18" Alloy is an available option. (A very hot looking stock rim, if I do say so myself!)
There's 46 coming to the Western Area.

I'm really leaning towards the Flint Mica. :D
Will Satellite Radio be standard on the GS430? If not, I definitely want to add it! :)

Yes, it appears that Satellite Radio is an available option, just like some of our other models.

hey r u sure about that being correct? because a moonroof being as an option but for 02-04 models, Lexus made it standard equipment on all models? doesnt sound right, but who knows, u think if u pay over 40k for a car at lease they can give u a sunroof. and hopefully leather interior is standard now on the 300 model

Yes, I am sure. It appears to have flipped back to being an option, or a "factory installed option" which means they all come with it. And leather is standard.

It would appear that your answer is...
$57,490 plus LDA and Destination.
EDIT: Actually, after seeing the GS300 RWD pricing thread, I tentatively take that back. Elizabeth, are there more packages for the 430 that are more expensive?

Why is it that, compared to Lexus' competitors like Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc, Lexus does not have many options? If you were to go to one of those other sites, you can change just about everything on the car, but with Lexus, it seems you get it their way or no way.

It seems that run flats and Pre-Collision are not being added to the cars in the Western area. The GS I built from my price sheet and posted is what we would consider "fully loaded". It's what dealers have been getting for the past several years and I've been getting positive feedback so far.

I'm very glad sunroof is an option since I have ZERO interest in having one. Eats head room and has been nothing but a problem with the rattling shade for most GS owners.

So on the new GS430 pricing, many here were saying it would be the same or less than the current model. Well dream on guys, it's about 4K more from what I can see, which is not unreasonable given the improved equipment.

Uhh the sunroof is pretty not an option because it is part of the premium package and u have to get that in order to receive the base GS300.
I think this is totally a BULL**** thign that lexus does and other car makers, making u get a package even if u dont want one...but have to get the package in order to get a car....another way to make $$$

You are forgetting something here, the general market that is looking to buy a car like this does not want the base model bare bones minimum.
I remember when I was at Lexus of San Antonio a long time ago looking through their lot, we spotted a very RARE, base model GS300 in Alpine Silver Metallic w/no moonroof and get this...CLOTH SEATS! To this day, I have yet to see another one of those ever.
The demand for a base model car doesn't generate enough pull to sway Lexus to build more "base" model cars. They are available, but not readily available as in one with the popular option combos.

Unless I"m misunderstanding something, we're talking about slightly different things here. You are saying that most everyone will want the premium package, which is why it'll come with it in 99% of cases. akbergq and I are saying that it is not possible to ever get anything less than the premium package as an add on, ever, even if you try to order from the factory directly.
If that's not actually the case, then I apologize for misunderstanding. However, if it is the case, it's very misleading advertising.

You can special order if you are willing to wait. The base car is never very popular. I've had people come into the dealership and say "I want a base Lexus", but once they see the other ones with all the nice features, they decide heck, if I'm paying this much I should just go up a little more and get it with a few extras. OR sometimes they see a fully loaded pre-owned and decide they'd rather buy that than a strippy model. In 2004, I special ordered a IS300 Sportcross with no moonroof, it was the ONLY special order I did the entire year. This gives you an idea of how rare special ordering is, but if you really do want one, anything is possible! Just let me know....

Okay, all a misunderstanding then. I forgot how much more tightly knit and integrated Lexus corporate is with the Lexus dealerships. So much so that they actually do configure the listing of availability on their website based on your zip code. I don't know if Infiniti and Acura are using my zip code for that reason, but the German three don't seem to. They show you the base and all the options, and you can check and uncheck as you please. I can't say I'm too fond of Lexus's website system. I'd rather them do like the Germans did and allow you to see one "national" page where you can see all the different possibilities. Then you can check each individual dealer's site to see what they have available. I'm guessing that Lexus deliberately does that to confuse fools like me, though, so you don't have as many people special ordering.
You know, I just realized that's why I never saw LSD listed for the IS300 in my area. I must not be in a snowy enough area that they'd have thought it was necessary. :egads:
Elizabeth, a friend of a friend's dad owns Longo (or so I've been told), so perhaps if I'm interested in the MkII IS, I will be paying you a visit after all... :)

Just to further clarify? If one wants a 2006 GS430 without spoiler and perhaps without Nav/ML that CAN be special ordered? I have seen posts about FULLY LOADED and about BASE, but this would be an "in-betweener." Possibly through special order?

Apparently it depends on your region. Perhaps in PA that will be base, or perhaps it will be an in betweener. Otherwise, special order you will be doing.

Did I miss something? Is there a thread here with the color options for the new GS? I want a metallic white-white (not off-white) GS, similar to the blizzard white on the LX.
Anybody know if that will be available on the new GS, and if so, what interior colors do I get to choose from?
Also, what's the deal with the black bird's eye maple? Is that going to be an option, or does it come bundled with certain interior colors? I'm so confused...

i think you would be interested in the "glacier frost" color. As for the black maple, that only comes w/ the grey interior.

Check out the "Glacier Forest", it's simliar to that of the "Blizzard Pearl". You do not have to pay extra for the black wood as it comes standard with the "Ash" (grey) interior.

Yes, it works exactly as it sounds. The harder it rains, the faster the wipers move. Even if are getting onto a freeway on ramp and you speed up, they will move faster.

Hey Elizabeth,
Do you happen to know what the exterior/interior color combinations will be? Do you know what your first allotment of colors will be besides black and mercury metallic?
I like the flint mica/ash but what will be available with the cypress pearl? Is that a dark green color? I can't really tell on the color swatches we have.

The Cypress is only available with Cashmere interior. The most popular colors in the GS430 seem to be Black and Mercury so it appears we will be gettting more of those than any other colors.
