Thumbs up Who DOESN'T love Outkast?

I know many here complain about the hip-hop game being stale these days, but there are rays of hope out there. Outkast is not only one of the best hip-hop acts out there, they're one of the best from ANY genre and ANY time period. Period.

Their beats, flows, and videos never fail to impress me. Case in point: The new "Ghetto Musick." Yet another one of their songs you can't possibly get sick of...Same goes for the video. This stuff is the kind of stuff that makes you feel good as a fan of music. My sense of humor is a bit "off," but at one point in the video (That House with Those Dogs) I hearly died of laughter after what Big Boi did (you might not think it's that serious, but I don't want to spoil it either way). The entire video/song is exceedingly clever and pretty tongue-in-cheek...Check it out here (choose "external player" option on the page):

I'm thinkin'...Time for a few Grammys.

I still remember being in the record store back in 11th grade and one of my friends saying, "hey man, you like Outkast?" and I was like "who?" I walked over to the aisle where he was and looked at the cd cover..."southernplayalisticadillacmusic" was the name of the album. He bought it and we listened to it in my car all day that day...the next day I was right back at the record store getting my own copy. ATLiens followed and that cd is actually in my changer right now as we speak! classic. I hate to say it but after that one I kinda left them alone, their music went in a new direction which was cool, but it just wasn't the same old Outkast I had grown up listening to. I still give them a big for making music for the people and not for profit.

Default I didnt feel ANYTHING from their most recent CD....

But, I still KILL each of their first two albums(ATLiens and Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik)
IMHO, their first album shames all of the rest of them.....
