Let's talk seriously about the NWO and biblical events for a moment.
I have chosen to use this page for reference since it contains the most information in one spot.

We are indeed seeing a new world order, we are seeing in one of our very own CL members siggy's proof of a one world government establishment

We are seeing things that only happen once every 2,000 years
Quote:
APPEARANCE OF THE RED HEIFER AFTER 2000 YEARS
****A Red Heifer is required for the waters of purification. In May 1997 the first Red Heifer was born in 2000 years. ******
Numbers 19:2-7 2This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:

We are seeing the rise of army's predicted before christ death 2,000 years ago.
Quote:
EXISTENCE OF A 200,000,000 MAN ARMY IN THE EAST
****At no time in history had such a large army existed until the Chinese army reached that figure in the 1960's.*****
Revelation 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

The rise of the internet and television is perhaps the most compelling proof to date of the earths timeframe in relation to biblical events, however look at the last lines of this scripture
Quote:
INSTANT COMMUNICATION AROUND THE WORLD
Television must be present for the world to see the dead prophets and rejoice at their deaths.
Revelation 11:3,7-10 3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

OBL and Saddam, yes?
Much more within that page of reference, but undeniable existence of fortold events.

You must be on crack to believe any of this religious b.s. ... they have been saying this stuff for the last 50 years and another thing is that the scriptures the quote or so vague that the interpretation of them can be twisted to ones particular liking . That is if you believe in the truth of a 2000 year old text from a time before the scientific method was introduced to sort through these "divine" truths ... hmm i bet they are asking for money somehow too ....

I think you're on crack to not believe the Bible does not speak the truth. The problem is you have to accept the truth to understand it. You speak of "scientific." Science is good, God gave us intelligence to learn, grow and adapt. Everything scientists say is not "gospel." I know you don't believe we evolved from monkeys. If that were true...why has no other monkey made it to the level of intelligence to speak. Not one. Every monkey dies a monkey. Not one got close to a higher level of evolving. Our bodies are too miraculous to believe we are some accidental growth. Our eyes, ears, hands, feet, lungs, spleen.....you get the picture. Then top it off with this wonderful thing we call a mind that controls it all. SOmething no other life form on earth has, giving us dominion over the animals. that's some accident. Look, you can believe what you want but don't call someone else crazy because they give props to the best history book of all time...The Bible. It tells what happened in the past and what will happen in the future if man doesn't get it right. I bet you believe the history books that talk about Christopher Columbus or Marco Polo or Gengis Kahn or whomever.

uh... I do. I'm not going to make you start believing it, but there's too much information pointing towards evolution for me not to. Call it another theory if you will, but in my mind it's fact.

And don't call someone else crazy if they don't believe in what the bible says, or if they don't think that the bible is the best history book of all time.
I'm a little confused by your last sentence... could you clarify? Are you saying that certain events (e.g. Christopher Columbus and the Americas) didn't actually occur?

The bible is a record of stories by the hebrew people, not fact, it gives explanations for life, morals, etc but the beliefs are nothing out of the ordinary for people in this period of time. particularly, look at islam. The only reason why this is considered holy is because of the middle ages and christians brutally killed people or gave them the option to convert. And this talk about our bodies being too miraculous to just occur is simply humanities glorification of themselves. Do we have any body parts that other species dont have to a lesser extent? No. We were just simply the most suited to survive. I believe the history books just like i believe the bible, with skepticism. Would you happen to believe in heaven and hell? these were created by the church in the middle ages to control people nothing more ... no matter what religion you have it is based on "truths" or "by faith" but are all based on false premonitions like "a god" talking to people ... when was the last time someone in the 20th century "talked to god" and was not taken to an insane asylum?
EDIT : Evolution is a theory, but what is the definition of a theory? Theory (dictionary.com) - A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.

I'm not saying they didn't occur. I'm saying it's so easy to believe someone tell us about Chris Columbus but you can't belive the history told in the Bible.
What facts are you talking about that prove we evolved from monkeys? Those are theories of people who don't know the truth so they print something a lot of people want to believe. I've heard some scientists say it isn't true about evolution. Which scientist is right? Man has adapted to the environment. Before we had electric heaters more body hair was needed. That doesn't mean we were apes. Again, what fact are you talking about?

Just gonna throw my 2 cents in....
My sister had a tumor in her brain in 1993 and had almost a slim chance of surviving the surgery. She was slowly deteriorating.... But one day, during a routine checkup, the TUMOR WAS GONE. No *****ting around here... It disappeared out of nowhere! I come from a very religous and close tied family, they believed it was the work of God. Mind you, I was only 9 years old back then, I had no clue what the heck was going on... It took me a few years to understand all faith stuff. But I'm proud to say, that I do believe in God. Miracles like this just don't happen out of nowhere. The doctors were as dumbfounded as everyone else. There's just something you feel, something out there.... Everyone I bet has felt it once in their life. Things don't happen "on accident" as the theory of evolution, etc. claims. There is a reason you are here and there is a reason I am... There is a reason for everything that happens. Accidentally putting bleach in your black laundry, only God knows why it had to happen.

Um, all scientific evidence points to this being true, so you can think of it as theory if you like but I accept it as fact. But I'm not trying to change your mind and you won't change mine.

That's very simple. In evolution we get branches where one species involves into itself plus another, or maybe many. Monkeys stayed as monkeys, but some learned to walk upright, use tools including fire, kill animals, etc. I could also ask you the opposite, why can humans not swing from tree to tree and don't have prehensile feet? Well, as humans evolved and walked upright, prehensile feet weren't optimal for balance and running and only those with 'better' feet survived to procreate (the rest becoming aligator turds or some other predator's lunch).

Nice to praise the wonderfully complex human body and mind, but we LACK MANY TOTALLY AMAZING THINGS found in other species. How about flight in birds? How about SONAR in dolphins and sharks able to distinguish astoundingly small differences in densities in otherwise identical objects? How about a shark being able to smell things a mile away under water? How about an oyster's ability to change gender? Well, we can sorta do that I guess.

Our minds are profoundly limited and UNAWARE of so much our body does and everything around it. But for a small computing device, the brain is truly amazing. As an example of limitations, if they're so great why do humans so VEHEMENTLY DISAGREE with one another about the same things?

Right, but those books don't purport to predict the future.
The Bible has a great amount of solid morality in it, some vague historical accounts, some interesting but laughable attempts to explain the world (e.g., garden of eden), and also some out and out nonsense and things that are morally offensive to many today.
Anyway, I know my limited mind doesn't agree with you, but please respect different points of view.

Yes, it's the Force. Seriously though I'm very glad to hear about your sister. Doctors don't claim to understand everything. Miracles are things we don't understand. I believe it was my hero Arthur C Clarke who said a sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. What do you think people 100 years ago would think of a cell phone? Yes, they'd think it's a miracle. Actually they'd probably think it was the work of the devil, but I digress.

If you know something about quantum and string theory you understand there is chance or accidents in the universe. On a macro level though we can see 'laws' or fixed patterns of behavior. But our limited lifespans (why do we only live for 80 or so years?, why do turtles live twice as long?) make it hard for us to comprehend trends that occur over much longer periods of time (thousands or hundreds of thousands of years). Do you accept as fact that dinosaurs existed millions of years ago?

I agree! I equate God with the Universe (also called pantheism) - and the universe is what the universe is, it is the ultimate 'reason'. Like you revere God (I assume), I revere the universe and the wonders and yes, miracles all around.
