Default oil filler cap 5w-30
Hi guys. my RX350 is 2008/03. oil filler cap says 5w-30 but owner's manual says use 0W-20. So puzzled went to dealer and asked them. They said " we use 5w-20". Anyone has any experiance with engine oil? It seems like better choice is 0W-30 (all included. lol) ANy advise appreciated.

Any oil with a 0WXX grade will be a synthetic (good choice). The XW(20) grades help CAFE ratings and work fine, so the manufacturers like them.
I use Mobil 1 5W30 and 0W30 would be my 2nd choice. 5QT jugs at Walmart and dealer will change for you.

I would still stick with either 5W30 or 0W30....

I changed my oil with 0w20 from Walmart - my MPG went from 26 last summer to 28 this season = rx400

Anyone using oil other than 5W-30 like the oil cap says? (0W-30, 10W-30, 15W-50, etc)
