NEW CP 8.5.1 86mm Pistons Coated with upgraded Wrist pins!!
2JZ 86mm 8.5.1 Compression CP pistons for sale. Part# SC7459 New Never Been Ran. I have nearly 1100 into these pistons. they retail around $850 +/-
-They have been Thermal barrier coated to better protect the pistons. Coast me about $300 just for the coating from Extreme Performance Heat Coatings.

"Thermal Barrier Coatings
Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBC’s) are designed to reduce the movement of heat. In some instances, such as exhaust systems, you want to keep the heat within the part. In combustion chambers you want to use the heat generated by combustion to push down on the piston rather than bleed off into surrounding surfaces. Due to continued testing we are learning that simple thermal barrier action is not the only characteristic that is important. In fact certain TBC’s will move an engine into detonation. TBC coatings can be made from a variety of materials. Ceramics get the most attention, though there are other materials that are superior in specific applications. The proper choice is critical to the overall function of the coating."
-The upgraded wrist pins are the thicker and much stronger CP wrist pins that are an "upgrade" option when ordering these pistons directly from CP. An extra insurance policy using thicker and much stronger pins. I paid about $150 Part# 866-2250-20CP3C
ASKING $950 Shipped on these Pistons. You wont find a better deal than this for a great set of pistons with upgraded pins along with being coated.
