Guys,

For what it is worth, I received a call back from Lexus Corp today and was told the new F enters production Sept. 29th.

Deliveries are to commence in late fall or early winter.

Again, this is what I was told. Does anyone have additional insight?

But will the let customers place orders for those build dates? Or only after production begins? If the latter, then first delivery for spec order is likely Feb '15.

Soo far I'm hearing 50/50 on the launch...
So package Sport or package Carbon... (Minor differences for the 4 regional areas)

Choose your exterior color with default interior color and drive it off the lots.

How long to physically build at the assembly factory assuming all the parts are available?

Well that depends on Lexus funky region configs. I want RC-F Carbon with everything (radar cruise, etc) and NO headlight washers. Usually it's usually hard to find the right color combo. I've had to order last 4 Lexus'. Avg 3-4 month wait each time.

I was told this is the production start date. So, I would expect 3-4 months before taking delivery.

Again, this is not gospel. It's what I was told last week. Things could change.
