2007 Lexus is350 thinking about purchasing
Hey there, I'm new to thus forum but I have been looking at buying a used lexus ever since my bmw 325ci engine has been having problems and I need a 4 door car for work now. The one I've been looking at the most is a is350 2007. It has 150,000 km on it which is why I'm checking here to see what your opinions are on it. Its from a private seller who has had it since day one and he also provided me with a complete list of all maintenance that has been done mostly at he Lexus dealership here in Vancouver as well. He recently dropped it from 16000 to 15,000 so I figure I can get it for about 14. What are your guys thought on this car? I would like to have something now thats going to last me for 4 or 5 years. I have also posted a picture of the work that was done on the car. The milage is mostly highway because he has to take regular trips that are about 500km one way for work to the states to over look offices he has down there. I do trust him since he is a COO of a decently sized company and is selling this because his work is paying for a new BMW 550i for him right now.
Let me know what you guys think I would like to buy this during the up coming week.

He is talking about a new IS350 but you get the idea
These car engines are basically built to last a really long time so 150K is pretty decent
I would take car over to lexus and get an assessment on the car.
Also the pricing might be another issue
Looks like car has been maintained ok, from the pic you provided though
also get a carfax ,
look around also and be patient ..
Goodluck and welcome to CL

the only thing i have a problem with is the jerky transmission, i drove many toyota b4 and never had transmiision like that... and some rattles at high speed with my 06... but other than i love the car....
stuff must get for the IS350:
-FIGS Engineering LCA rear bushing... that'll fix the front tire camber wear problems....
