Default Krown Rust proofing

I took my car there this Monday to get it rust proof and I have to say they did an awesome job, however I didn't allow them to drill 26 holes in my car. As a matter of fact no holes were drilled. I wanted to know, has anyone actually drilled the holes in their car?

Thanks in advance!

I had my ES rustproofed shortly after purchase. I went with Corrosion Free, via a Canadian Tire store. I also opted for the non-drilling option since I mainly wanted the underbody and wheel wells done.

i think the Rust Check is the same as Krown . they too drill holes. I don't mind with drilling holes. If you get it every year then i think the car will be rust free. I say just get the holes drill. They know best when it comes to rust check

Hello
new member here :-)
I joined this site to get some more information in anything I am wondering and rust proofing is one of them.
I called and talked to Lexus Canada and they told me rust proofing is NOT recommended.
I was somewhat in "what?" state when I heard that from Lexus Canada.

but I see some of you use rust proofing..

I've been using Krown since '98 when I first bought my '92 Cressida. I finally put the car to rest in 2012 after 500K km. I bought my '98 GS400 in 2007 and have been using Krown on it ever since. There is virtually no rust on the car except for two or three tiny little spots up by the top of the windshield and at the edge of the trunk bar. All of the body panels are still totally rust free. I live in Ottawa and drive year round, winter and summer averaging over 25K per year.

I have also used Metropolitan rustproofing on my Cressida a few times and also my 97 Camry (also practically rust free). Seems to de basically the same thing as Krown. My Daughter just krowned her 2009 Is250
