It's not that bad. Granted, changing the oil filter on my E36 BMW was really easy, but the entire oil change itself takes about the same amount of time as my Honda/Acura cars. I see my RX330 as no different. So it takes an extra 2-5 minutes to do a complete oil change job on a Honda or Toyota. That to me is not a big deal and certainly no reason to pass on a vehicle for that reason alone. Besides, what is so hard on a Honda? The oil filter is accessed from the bottom but there is nothing in the way. You jack up the car (Having a lift is even better) and reach up and remove the filter. It really is no big deal since you have to be under the car anyway to access the oil drain bolt.
