Usually the homelink buttons are near the light switches on the ceiling.

In this hooptie, the buttons are on the mirror.

Setting it up was a fumble. A two person job and only happened because the battery had died on one of our clickers. I climbed up to the drive unit, pressed the red button on the unit and my wife sat in the car and followed the directions in the owners manual. After 2 tries it programmed the Homelink in the car.
