depends on what youre after. some tires are more (quiet/louder/stiffer/heavier/fatter side wall/etc/etc/affordable/perform better/wores in certain climates) than others

Tirerack.com

Gets you pointed in the right direction. I always reference with them as far as UTQG rating, thread pattern, and reviews. I have never bought from them though, I probably should for using their resources.

I'm using Goodyear F1 AS2 ..... To me, they are great !!
Smooth running, good grip, not too noisy and they just gives u confidence round corners !

I wish I had done the same. When I wear out the Bridgestones, I'm going for the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I'm currently running them on my Mustang (they were not OEM on the car), and they're terrific. Only disadvantage is price--I paid $305/tire at Tirerack for four 255-40-19 tires. If you don't have the coin, a good alternative is the Continental Extreme Contact DW, which is much less expensive.

You might also consider running the same size wheels/tires X 4, if you're upgrading rubber. Two advantages: you can rotate your tires and you'll have less understeer.

Those were the ones I decided on as well. Can't wait to get them mounted.

Has anyone used Continental ExtremeContact DWS before? I heard a lot good things about it, especially winter performance. But there are also complaints about its sidewall being soft. I just wonder if anyone here can comment on that.
