Default easy exit seat movement does not move

'13 model.
I checked the vehicle customization to have the setting on but I noticed that the driver seat has stop moving assisting easy exit feature. The steering wheel is tilting however.

Should I check with the dealer?

Make sure you have designated how far you want the seat to go back.

I tried setting it to "off" then "partial" then "full" but nothing seems to moving. It was moving for the first month or so ...

Can you move the seat with the power seat switch or with one of the Memory seat buttons? If the seat moves, might be a long shot, but try resetting/saving the Memory seat at a new position. Then turn off the car and see if the seat moves back.

If it still doesn't work, I'd have it checked out at Lexus. Keep us posted - curious since I personally never had this issue with all the Lexus cars I owned and don't believe to have seen this issue posted prior ...

I had this happen recently. Can't remember exactly what I did but it was a combination of moving the seat back and forward, then turning the seat exit feature off and on. It seemed to reset itself the next time I drove the RX. I already had the seat position in memory so I just needed to press the button to return it to what I like.

Just notice the same thing with my new 2013 ES350. Worked fine for a few weeks then stopped. I too have done all of the things mentioned in the thread, but no luck. Will be bringing that up when I go in for my 5k checkup.

I think by your wording it used to move back, and has stopped. But have you checked #18 of the link below? Maybe it was changed below by accident or memory leak. My audi used to forget MMI settings before I realized or the car warned of bad battery. Though you have new car so that probably isn't it.

Ok. I accidentally found out how to make the easy exit seat works again by lowering the seat a bit. I had the seat at its highest point and the easy exit does not work when the seat in that position.
I use the seat height adjust power button to lower it a bit. Then it starts to work...

Should I bring it back to dealer and get it fixed? Or is it working by design ?

I also used the customization feature on our 2010 to turn this on, but nothing--nada--zip. Was hoping for the wheel to tilt up, as I already have the seat all the way back.

Yet another disappointment. WTF?
