2013 LFA owners' gathering - NOLA Motorsports Park
Since a couple other people on the forum have mentioned the event, I figured I'd create a placeholder thread for all the upcoming pics/videos/writeups I'm sure we'll have on it.
I've been pretty busy lately so didn't get a chance to check who's going. I got to meet lunaC42 at Laguna Seca last year, not sure if she's going this year? I think CrazyMPG mentioned he'll be there? Any other forum regulars showing up?
Unfortunately my car won't make it - I had planned to ship it (even bought a new GoPro just for it) but ran into some logistics issues when coordinating with Lexus, so my car will have to wait at least another year to make it out for an owner gathering. I'll still bring the GoPro so I can use it in Lexus' corp cars.
Also, I've been told by the Lexus corporate guys to expect some big surprises. Not sure if it'll top Haruhiko Tanahashi and Akira Iida personally celebrating the 7'14" lap time at the Nürburgring event in 2011, but I'll keep the thread updated!

Lexus pro drivers S. Pruett, A. Toyoda & T. Kinosh-ita are at the location meeting up with the rest of the LFA owners. Yes you read it, Toyoda is there!!!!!!!
Gazoo Racing LFA is at New Orleans too. And yes, Toyoda is in the driving seat giving out laps

Wow!
Grand Am Scott Pruett, JGTC champion Kinosheita and Akio Toyoda all in the same place. Talk about some serious star power. Only Akira Iida is missing and it would be an all-star cast.

We're there 2 sunset orange cars there?
From the picture I thought I saw Mr 003 an 499. Was that true and if so foes he still have an LFA or does he get forever good will?
