Yeah, I think the Stingray has a lock on Motor Trend's #1, but I'm rooting for the 33IS to make the top three!

I hope the Stingray wins. The technology alone on the new Stingray goes way beyond the LFA gauge.

I wish they would specify RWD or AWD, although we all know that this is IS350 RWD F Sport.

New or improved IS engines would have heated up the Motor Trend COY competition. But I'll still keep a positive hope on it.

Good find. A nice win for Lexus. Another interesting thing about this article is reading the comments from the haters listed at the end of the article. The first few I read were all negative. Some real hate of the IS out there.

That'll happen with all cars. The nice thing is on Jalopnik I'll read reviews about other cars and lots of folks will mention the IS as being a better option for the price and things like that.

But universally, people seem to hate the grill. I love it. And yesterday I saw a valet kid checking mine out while I was stopped at a traffic light.

I know I probably have a minority opinion here, but I am glad that my new 3IS has the same engine. I make the assumption that the new generation engines will be turbocharged ala Audi and BMW. II would rather have a tried and true normally aspirated motor than a less durable, possibly problem prone turbocharged one. Just take a look at the Audi and BMW forums and see the issues!

Lots of haters commenting on autoblog and Jalopnik sites yet none of them have seen the car in person. If it's not a German car they hate everything else.
