Cool Carbon Fiber Wrapped Starfire Pearl Lexus IS 250

Hi,

I actually got my Carbon Fiber Vinyl Roof Wrapped back in April, but last weekend I also got my interior wrapped and wanted to show and also got my taillights smoked which is hard considering the curves on the IS 250 taillights.

Sorry for the garage shot and dusty car (wrap done 6-7 months ago) Pictures dont show the detail

Side Window Control Wrapped

Center Console Wrap (they took apart my console to wrap it instead of wrapping and tucking it in

Smoked Taillights, Got rejected from 2 shops because of Lexus IS 250 taillight curves, but found a place to get it done

I got the work done at Endless AutoSalon located in Mira Loma, California, I also posted a review of them in the Southern California Section

Gonna be honest. A bit disappointed, after reading the title I thought it was the entire car you wrapped. Alas it's just your roof..

yeah sorry for the misleading title, but its my roof, center console and side window controls... if it makes a difference lol

I may get my hood and trunk wrapped later, just so the sides will be white and middle down will be carbon wrapped, but still thinking

If you maintain your vinyl wrap with recommended products from say 3m. Then the vinyl should last a while. Also OP any reason you didnt wrap the shark fin?

For the center console, I was quoted $245 from another place, the place I went to, they quoted me $160 for center and for sides they quoted me $50 total for 4 side window controls.

Yeah i use Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant for my vinyl wrap. Well they said I could get it wrapped which is very difficult because of curves of the shark fine, unless its more than 1 piece. My other friend recommended i get it powder coated or painted. I decided to just keep it normal when I got it, I actually like the contrast of white and black, makes it stand out a bit from other cars. In the future if i decide, i might either paint it or get a oem black one.

Sadly im not sure what they used, it was some kind of tint, I was with them watching them as they applied it, the guy was like wait, not sure if it will work out since he didnt notice all the curves before but he was willing to try, and he was able to do it, but he said it was the most difficult one to do next to the chevy taillights

^I've had my interior trim vinyl wrapped for a year and it looks as good as the first day it was applied.

^Wow, I should go into that business. Cost me $20 in material for 3M 1080 gloss CF Vinyl and a couple of hours to do it... it is an easy DIY for those that can spare a couple of hours and use a pair of scissors and a hair dryer.

Here is my DIY version

I thought it was the whole car too. Oh well, don't do the hood and trunk. It looks fine just the way it is.
