3IS 350 same engine as GS350?
Are they identical engines? I was reading the information about the 2014 GS350 and it has the same horse power as IS and it sounds like GS350 RWD will be getting the 8 speed but not the AWD like what they did with IS this year.

Also I was looking at the GS350 F Sport on Lexus.com and it also doesn't' come with Memory seats or ventilated seats so at least Lexus is being consistent with what they are doing with 3IS.
One other thing I noticed in the article was that 2014 GS will have Siri integration. Will 3IS be able to upgrade to this via firmware upgrade?

I think they are. One reason I never considered a GS after an extensive drive is that it really did feel underpowered and that a car that size needed an 8cyl or some boost in hp. Oh, one more thing -- the nav is bigger on the GS but that really made the limits of the mouse much more noticeable to me because there is so much more real estate to cover in order to position the curser. What color combo did you order?

Same engine.
The GS F Sport does have memory and ventilated seats. Couple things it doesn't get that the luxury package does, the 18 way power driver and passenger seat (it gets a 16 way driver seat), passenger door sunshades, rear radio/hvac controls, 3 zone climate, adaptive lighting, and foglights.

Why did you get rid of the Genesis? It couldn't have been more than couple years old. I was considering 2015 Genesis but after seeing the interior spy shot I was disappointed to say the least.

Lexus/Toyota gets the job done with a 3.5L V6 that for some reason also sounds nicer than the 5.0L V8 in the Genesis above!
