Default From 6k to 4300

Soooo for as long as i can remember i've always been a fan of 6k hid bulbs. I recently sold my ls430 retrofit with 6k philips ultinon bulbs. I figured this was a good time to try another temp so i went with a 4300 bulb off ebay. Clearly i prefer quality since i paid over $200 for those Ultinons from Nigel... Which were LEGIT dope... But since i wasnt 100% on this new temp i figured whats $15 bucks.

Well... I wish i woulda tried this sooner. Even though they are ebay bulbs i can def see more light where i need it. Sure i lost some range with the sale of my retrofit but i see more of the road lit with the light where its important. Def gonna upgrade to some quality bulbs next.

------
Prior to this i had a hid kit installed in my wife's Sonata. I was originally pleased with 6k bulbs it came with but im ordering 4300 for that car too.

The only down side to this new appreciation is i have to replace all the other bulbs that i matched to the 6k lol... Oh well

4300 ftw

That's funny cuz I had stock HID 4300k on my car and I just upgraded to 6k phillips ultinon bulbs and what a difference! Way better light output and range! But then again my 4300k were about 8 yrs. old so that might play a factor with my results.

i agree with the 6k phillips ultinon bulbs. its a very unique professional color . it is pretty much a greater powerful oem look . worth every penny. plus they make led tvs lol
