2013 GS 350 vs 2014 is 350
Can anyone tell me what's the big differences between the 2013 GS 350 and 2014 IS 350 ?
The horse power is the same.. the size is the same.. maybe one inch difference for the width & height ...
I don't understand why it will cost $8000 for the GS 350 ?
I online chat with lexus ...and they didn't give me an answers....

The GS is a larger car than the IS, even though the IS has grown. The GS is a higher end vehicle with better material quality, more options and features. Haven't driven the IS yet, but I would expect the GS to drive heavier, feel more solid with the IS feeling lighter and nimbler. The GS is a little bit more mature while the IS is more youthful.

Ya the GS is bigger, it depends on how much room you want/need. Personally, I take some long trips with a few buddies to snowboard and visit buddies in other states so I wanted the extra room and comfort. It's like comparing a civic to an accord, neither are bad just depends on what your looking for.

Thanks
cause it's $8000 more ... just for the size... and it's said it's only 1 inch difference on the size !
so I wonder why Lexus do this and the look is about the same.... why would people wanna pay $8000 more... confuse me

1 inch on paper means nothing. It's all about the layout of the interior. The GS is a bigger car. Material quality and refinement cost a lot. Go drive them both, it becomes easy to see why the GS costs more.

It also may not be a difference you can quantify. For instance I have a GS, I would not even consider an IS regardless of the price differential. The quality differences, style differences and the size differences are too great for me.

Out the door is hard to say because every states taxes are different. I would shoot for a purchase price of invoice, with the current incentive (I think its $2,500?) off of that...

Yeah, I would say. Not sure about the current rebate...

Thanks guys! Almost makes it worth considering a new F sport but I still think its just out of reach. Used it is most likely
Would a dealer order a 2013 for you at invoice minus the rebate or only for cars on the lot? Sorry just curious.
