Does anyone have an idea why my car now rides bumpy. It's like small bounces. I just purchased bc coilovers with spring rates 14k/10k. From what i have searched, could it be that my springs are too firm? I put my coilovers on full stiff and still rapid small bounces. Could anything else affect this? I never noticed this on my megan ez's.

The small bounces are a combination of the stiff spring rate and the stiffest damper settings. The dampers are meant to absorb the road impact. When they're set to max stiffness, the dampers absorb as little as possible, which is useful if you're really low or if you're trying to fit really aggressive wheels. If you want a more comfortable ride, you'll have to reduce the stiffness.

Try turning the BCs down 4 clicks at a time until you notice a difference. If that doesn't help, maybe look into 12k springs for the front?

you have it too stiff....how aggressive are you wheel offsets...if you r not agressive then honestly you only need 24/30 in front and 20-22/30 in the rear...
Plus the 14k spring in the front is already way stiffer than regular...I'm running 12/10

WAY TOO STIFF! Loosen up the dampers. I've been DD'ing my BCRs at 18 front/12 rear, and then dropped the rear down to 6 for drag racing at the track last Thurs. I have yet to take the 5 seconds to open the truck and make any adjustments; but sitting on a setting of 6 reminds of how the stock suspension felt...spongy.

Thanks all, yeah I softened up the dampers, to about 5 clicks to full soft. Definitely less bounce but then mkakes the suspension around corners feel to loose. I'll also redo preload and see if that helps

Yeah, the rear end definitely is looser feeling...but its all about the give and take. Play with the settings to find what works for you. The front should be a 3-4 clicks stiffer in my book. If you make the rear too stiff you'll find out you get wheelspin more often too.

wouldn't you crank down the dials, not up if you have too bumpy of a ride.

^Not really. The "bumpy ride" is being caused by the dampers rebounding too quickly in response to the road conditions (aka, potholes) thus causing a jarring ride quality. Soften up the dampers to slow the response and have a more "OEM ride quality".
