GS F is having a good race with the NSX to see who takes the longest to come to the market

I second that. The GSF has some big horsepower monsters to slay a la BMW M5, Audi RS6, and the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG. All the Germans are over 500hp and some are close to 600hp. I know Lexus/Toyota always uses the reason it's about the drive and connection lately, instead of outright brute force, but in this high dollar car niche, you need massive horsepower and low 0-60/quarter miles times to have bragging rights amongst your successful/immaculate credit colleagues. If Lexus is going to do it, they might as well do it right, and because it's taking them ten years to make it, it sure better be good.

interestingly enough, C&D said today that they heard IS-F will come with twin-turbo V6... maybe GS-F will have twin turbo V8?

or just ultra powerful for people to brag and talk **** on the internet....These cars are rarely used to anywhere near their full potential and on the street it is just asking and begging for trouble, they are so fast its just mind blowing these are sedans.

I hope the GS F continues the GS trait of getting the handling and steering right, that to me is more important than having 550hp and getting into 0-60 arguments. I want a more passionate car in this segment that appeals to your heart and not to the mind and a bunch of numbers.

They should rebadge a CLS 63

Great News about the GS-F!!!!!

I dont care if its 400 or 500 hp - I'm just glad Lexus will do it period.

Now please bring back the SC based on a GS platform and an IS-F coupe.

Audi S6 has shown what can be done with "just" 420 hp.

not at all. Highest hp is like a d*** measuring contest. It's about TORQUE

hp wins the show. lb-ft wins the race
