Try calling AST to see if they're up for the task.

i received an email from ast. it seems like they only rebuild ast and moton shocks. They do not do air bags :/

i had my fingers crossed on this one. I don't even mind shipping overseas to japan if i had to.

So I think my shocks are beginning to give out. I am still looking for a place that does wonders and perhaps can rebuilt the air shocks ..but so far no luck.

Again, I heard back from ast-usa.com and they said they only rebuild Moton shocks.

It would amazing to keep the car 100% OEM instead of have to convert to coils..for a practical cost.

Do you think there is a place you can source them in Japan?

Or have them rebuilt here in the states? - or where ever at this point.

haven't checked sewell, but i'm sure it's pretty close.
in moscow from toyota supplier - 19.000rub each, which is just little bit more than 600usd.

edit: wow, checked sewell - 999 is a club price for front ones... what a ripoff.. come to moscow i'll get you shock much cheaper!

wow around $600 is not bad at all..this would cut the cost almost in half..certainly more adequate than $999

so when are we going to moscow

let me know if you can source something in moscow...or where ever. I have plenty of folks asking this same question in my part of town.

Best

well, if you want i can try to ship some. but i got one rear spare lying around and i am not sure if post will accept box of this size... otherwise shipping alone can take the fun out of this idea...

Arnott will not rebuild, nor do they have a replacement air strut for LS430.
I picked up a used set of OEM front + rears off Ebay $700.
