1998 GS300 - A/C not working
On my way home this evening my A/C stopped blowing cold air and the A/C button on the temperature control panel started blinking. The blower/fan is working fine...just no cold air. No other instrument panel/service engine lights are on and everything seems fine with the engine. Do you think this is electrical...or maybe the A/C system needs recharged? Suggestions?
Really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

There are a couple of relays for the A/C system. I'm guessing I probably need the A/C System Relay which runs about $100?

Ok. Update! The mg/clt (magnetic clutch relay) is working fine. We tested it and it does not need to be replaced. My A/C is still not working. This leads me to believe that the AC Compressor Relay needs to be replaced. Can anyone provide the location of the relay on the 1998 Lexus GS300? Is it in the engine somewhere...or behind the dash? I already have the new relay (Four Seasons Part # 36025) but I need the location! Thanks!

Yeah...but the way the A/C stopped working all of a sudden, as I was driving along the interstate, leads me to believe it's electrical and not a loss of freon. My old Camry lost Freon but it happened gradually.
If anyone knows where the A/C Compressor relay is located, please let me know.
Thanks!

Yes, I already tried Google and I didn't find the answer to my question in the downloads...still looking for the location of the A/C Compressor Relay.

I only suggested freon because that was one of your questions.
I found this on google:

The answer IS there, just gotta search through it. I got to page 12, but I'm at work and cant be searching through all the pages. That link has ALL the details of locations of EVERYthing in the A/C system.

First thing to do is hook it up and get your pressure readings... Knock that out and then go from there... Was it blinking from the AC recirculation light to the outside intake light?
