Default Best way to connect Android phone to LS430 stereo system?

I listen to a lot of podcasts and currently use a shoddy tape adapter. Wanted to find suggestions on how to better connect my phone to the stereo system.

The Coby CA-745 FM transmitter has good reviews and is about $20, but I'd like to see if there were any hard wire type solutions.

Thanks!

Those two choices are just about the only options we have for droids. Too bad we can't stream music thru bluetooth like in other cars. I have a Droid 2 global but my music is done thru ipod and a vaistech adapter. I do plan on using a tape adapter for phones calls to get better sound when I'm talking and driving.

I'm not familiar with droids, but since you have a headphone jack, you can buy a the aux VaisTech and connect via aux.

Edit: Their site even says it is a solution for Android.

Can playlist/Songs be controlled via Factory steering wheel buttons? Also will the playlist show on Factory Nav? If yes, this seems to be a great alternative without having to spend $249 for Vaistech unit.

I don't think the $75 unit does it, but perhaps the $129 unit does.

Just had my friend come over and install the unit. Very easy install and works as described. I notice my HTC Thunderbolt isn't as loud as his iPhone 4 when connected at the same volumes.

For my Android phone, this connects via the audio jack and has a USB port to charge. No steering wheel controls, maybe with the iPod.

No Bluetooth music with stock radio.

Default me too

Looking for something like this, but in $129 version. I think they say it on their website that it provides for the steering controls. If someone installed that and is using it successfully, I'd sure like to hear from them before I shell out the 129
Also would like to know how one would hide the wire so it does not look too much aftermarket-ish.
Thanks,

I have the wires tucked under the side of the center console, exiting on the passenger side by the cup holders. When not in use, I just tuck the wires between the center console and passenger seat area.
