Thanks man. They mentioned that a $2,500 MSD would lower my MF and bring the payment down to $600 tax in.

I think for $39 a month, I can keep my $2,500 and use that towards some wheels.

Invoice is ~$52,400.

Deal is Invoice + $500. Fair.

Do a $0 down payment. Use the money for MSD instead.

Good luck.

So, if I use the $5000 towards MSD instead, I'd be looking at the same monthly payment?

Also, if I give the money towards MSD, I still have to pay inceptions.

If you pay MSD and crash your car day 2 of leasing. Insurance pays off the balance of your lease and you get your refund for the MSD.

If you pay down payment and crash your car day 2 of leasing, insurance pays off the balance of your lease and you are out your down payment.

...think of it another way:

...Would you put a "down payment" on your apartment to reduce your monthly rent?

...either way, you would still need to pay inceptions...

It makes perfect sense. The downside is that i need to dish out more money out of pocket to pay for inceptions and such.

Wife's gonna kill me. Ohh well.

MSRP $56,455
Final negotiated price $53,400 plus $1,500 conquest discount

24 month lease/ 15k miles a year
Residual was 70% money factor .0020 I could have gotten .0019 but I had 4 other cars under my name

0 down total drive off $1,450
23 payments of $ 730 plus tax

I could have negoiated additional $500 but the color combination I had was only available in one entire dealership thru-out the whole west coast so I had little less leverage

Rivera Red with flaxen interior.

Let me know what you thought of my deal I got in March

Hrm, where are you located?

Invoice is also the same ~$52,400.

$53,400 is invoice + $1k if conquest is already included.

If conquest was applied after $53,400, then deal was invoice -$500. Good deal.

.002 money factor * 2400 = 4.8% APR.
.0019 money factor * 2400 = 4.56% APR.

March 2012 CPI/Inflation rate was 2.88%. With that said, unless your investments yield >4.56% APY, money factor was too high.

According to Trucar.com invoice for this car is $53,100 with the options I got. Where are you getting your invoice price? If you count the conquet against the neogiated price that I paid less than $52,000 for this vehicle.
Money factor was not negoitable. It was set firm at .0019 as the lowest. I am in California
