Hi All CL members
Anyone with either a set of Bridgestone Turanza Serenity or Michelin Primacy MXV4( or other Michelin name). Can you please give me some personal owning experience with these tires. I am more concerning with road noise and comfort ride level on the highway/freeway cruising. I am light footed driver and doesn't turn on the radio very too often. Thanks all.

Nope that wasn't me and beside it was a 3rd Generation GS. Anyway there seem to be a lot of 2nd Gen. GS around socal then the 3rd Gen. I really like to hear from 2nd GS owner. Anyway, I get your point Will read in the tires and rims section.

I'm actually starting to look around for tires for my factory wheels (have new tires on the winter rims). Bridgestone has a $70 rebate right now at Costco.

Costco's Bridgestone promotion starts next week. The Michelin is a better tire that also comes with a roadside assistance program with purchase. When you factor in that Bridgestone rebate it isn't a bad deal for the price though.

Primacy mxv4's on 2002 gs300 and nissan maxima. Will buy again.

Actually, you can't go wrong with either tire. I would go with the best deal.

For this post they are referring to the primacy MXV4 not the MXM4. Don't get me wrong the Bridgestone is a great tire, it's just that I have sold hundreds of both and the Michelin is just a step above. I would recommend to go with what you know. If you have had good luck with something stick to it.

I am more favoring the Michelin myself. But the Bridgestone perform quite well in the rain. Please see the link below. I know it doesn't rain very often in Southern California, but when it does, it just down right pouring. This is a SHE kinda tires and car. And the Bridgestone really shined during the wet road tested according to TireRack.

One more question folks. Would it effect the ride quality or comfort if I use 225/55R16 instead of 215/60R16? I just read about it in the owner's manual.

As the Beidgestone wears down it loses some of the groves that push the water out. You can go with the 225 but right off the bat your options in tire models are going to change. Last I checked it's not available on a primacy MXV4

I actually work for Bridgestone so I am partial to that brand. Michelin is probably the biggest competitor, but setting aside all feelings, I would still go with the Bridgestone. The Turanza tire is a great tire all around. And if you get the Serenity, it is designed for performance sedans in mind. It has an All Season tread design with many performance characteristics and it will not lose much of those characteristics as the tire wears. You will not regret getting the Turanza Serenity

Can you please be more specific, Goodyear what? The subsequential name. Exact description would be helpful. How is the road noise? thx.
