Default Fan Clutch Install Help PLEASE???? PICS INCLUDED

I Need Help!!!!!!!!!! Trying to install my fan clutch . Thought it would be pretty simple but boy was i wrong.(Mechanic Exp. Limited.) A couple of months ago I got my water pump changed out becuz it was leaking . It was replaced with a almost new water pump off a GS300(not sure what year but 2jz) that was getting swapped to GTE. I bought the car with no fan clutch and 2 not working electric fans.

I bought a 2jz fan clutch of rockauto. Yesterday I removed the the E fans and started to install fan clutch. Should be simple theres 4 10mm bolts on the water pump in the car . Removed and tried to slide fan clutch on but the screws don’t line up. Screws on water pump are too close to each other, the fan clutch has wider screw setup.(Fan Clutch fit rights on to old water pump. Wider screw setup, also 12mm bolts )

I was told to remove pulley from old water pump and put it on to the new one. So I removed the belt off the pulley and removed pulley from car. Only to find out that the center hole and screw holes are not the same on the pulleys. Water Pump in the car has smaller base than the old water pump.

How can I remove just the end of the water pump that holds the pulley to replace with my old one??? Brown part on water pump is what I need on my water pump.

I know its long but trying to give a clear picture of whats going on. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I'm willing to bet thats a VVTi water pump. Go to advance auto and buy a new water pump...why put a used one on? These pumps tend to be year specific due to VVTi

The water pump in the car works with the pulley in the first pic, but the fan clutch doesn't fit on that pulley setup, screws are to close together.

i need to know if there is a way to remove the front of the water pump(just the round base that holds pulley) so i can put the other pulley base and pulley on that lines up with the fan clutch?

Or what fan clutch will fit my water pump?? should be easier to just replace the fan clutch if i cant get that base off.

It would be easier to replace the water pump.

You cannot take the face off of the pump. They are bonded together. You need the correct size water pump....you're going to regret not going to buy a new one if you dont.

If you can get to a parts store, bring both pulleys and visually check the fan clutch sizes from these years/models:

1997 LEXUS LX450 4.5L 1FZFE DOHC
1997 LEXUS LS400 4.0L 1UZFE DOHC
1992 LEXUS LS400 4.0L 1UZFE DOHC
1997 TOYOTA 4RUNNER 3.4L V6 5VZFE DOHC
1997 TOYOTA 4RUNNER 2.7L 4cyl 3RZFE DOHC
1992 TOYOTA 4RUNNER SR5 3.0L V6 3VZE SOHC
1992 TOYOTA 4RUNNER SR5 2.4L 4cyl 22RE SOHC

Hope this helps.
