Default Inside Door Handle

When I opened the driver door last night the inside door handle snapped off. I found a Lexus dealer that I can order it from for about $35. The local Toyota dealer price for the Supra handle is about $25. Does anyone know if the parts are identical, or do I need to go with the Lexus part?

Also, I used to order used parts from a guy on here whose email was balconnelly@comcast.net. I tried emailing him last night, but it was returned. Does anyone know if he is still around?

I believe they are pretty car specific. I would just opt out for the Lexus part. I had the same problem with the passenger side door handle awhile ago. Try to google the part. You most likely can find if for cheaper online, that's not a dealer.

Does anyone know where I can look up the part number? Lexus of Pembroke Pines is where I usually order new parts from. MSRP for the part is $48.66, their price is $34.22 plus shipping. My local dealer wants $52 for it. What I found on ebay was around $50.

Also check out RGW LLC, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mem...5-rgw-llc.html. They might have the door handle that you need.

Thanks for all your help. After looking at some pics of some Supras on autotrader, I don't think the Toyota part will work. The Supra handle is on the arm rest instead of the top of the door, and the sides are slanted, not squared up. I've sent out a couple of PMs on here, and if I don't hear anything back soon I'll order it online.

Just go new. $35 isn't a bad price and they're going to last longer than another used handle which could easily snap on you not too long from now.
