Default My ISF evolution...

Hey everyone, Im starting to build up a little dyno chart colcetion so I figured I would post them all to give people rough ideas of what kind of gains to see in stages.

First is a baseline with a Injen intake

This chart shows the addition of Sikky headers and PTS-Joe Z exhaust

This chart shows the addition of the Elite Intake manifold. Fat lines are before and the skinny ones are with the intake manifold upgrade

This is a current N/A run with all mods & then with the Zex 100 shot

Couple shots of the car Rocking Strasse Wheels, Downforce USA front and side carbon fiber spoilers, Euroteck motorsports carbon fiber underbody diffuser & roof spoiler. Blacked out emblems, grill with yellow fogs and a custom painted engine cover.

Drag video:

Always happy to answer any questions, feel free to ask and thanks for looking

how does it feel with the headers? Does it seem like there is much more power and tq all throughout the powerband?
Have you driven it through a few tanks of gas and has the ecu relearned and caused a drastic loss of power?

CEL's?
if not, what did you have to do?

The headers are the biggest bolt on power maker... all by themselves on a stock F header will make 30-40 whp and 15-20 ft lbs. They are a huge difference in the way the car feels, the vehicle is faster everywhere with them;low and high speeds. They headers come with a o2 simulator that works perfect.. haven't had a cel in 8,000 miles. Check them out at http://sikky.com

Elite Auto Engineering... porting is 900 and your gonna pay 3-4 hours in labor to switch them. Also, this shop has pretty bad customer service, it will take them a 3-4 weeks to get it done. I think Mitch on here has one he never installed cause he bought a GTR. HIt him up to see if hes still selling it at a better deal with no down time.

Interesting results.

Everyone looks at the HP numbers and you have that. You also have increased the torque numbers down in the more usable area. Stock had 300 ft/lbs at 4700 RPM. You're hitting that now at 3400 RPM with no juice. Torque is what spins the wheels when you nail it and that F should take off a lot sooner now. Bring it to Albany in two weeks and you can see what it does at the drag strip.

I personally don't know about that ported manifold. It smooths the curve out but you loose power. What were the temps of the two dynes in the shop cause both were done on different days correct?

This may be a dumb questions but is it the headers that are giving the advantage or more to do with the removal of the restrictive CAT?

I am sure the beautiful lines of the pipes help but the removal of the restrictive CAT must count a lot.

Going by one of your older posts you changed the cats on the Joe Z as well, right? If so, how much do you think that affected your results?

yes its a little funky...the dyno run with intake, headers and exhaust was done in the begining of feb at 49 degrees and obviously the new run was done the day of the meet which was 80ish. James said the dyno compinsates for the outside temp and the runs are ligitiment. I agreee its a tosss up, the gains are eh for the large amount of money but the tq starting 1000rpm earlier is no joke even though you loose a little here and there, there were some small low and mid range hp gains as well. We have enough hp, we need more mods to improve tq. Im alright with the mod. At least I didnt loose power, James at JE was worried I would have power drops all over... luckly he was kinda wrong.

I had Random Technology 100 cell matrix cats (2) that were welded in the X-pipe that melted first time on the race track after 3 hours and caused a lot of headaches. I loved them daily driving around town, but they just are not ment for the track. They are worth 1-2hp more at the very bottom and top of your power band. plus no drone, no fuel smell, pass visual inspection. Lots of money for something that I promise will fail if you really use your F. People who JUST daily their car, the cats will be perfect for a random day on a drag strip and making sure the wife or GF dont complain about your cars noise with headers exhaust. If you use your F for what its made to do straight pipe it (catless) and figure out how to pass your inspection.
