How much is a LS460, 2009 with 15k miles worth?

Lexus is buying back my LS460, 2007 on thursday if it pass is inspection.

The dealer has a 2009 for, asking price 62k, way to much. Might make offer in the low 50k.

I bought a 2009 AWD SWB LS460 with 24k miles, ML sound system, comfort package for $52k in January 2011. I didn't care for a CPO since mine had plenty of time left on the factory warranty and I didn't buy from a Lexus dealer (I bought it from the owner of a Toyota dealership who bought a 2011 LS). In the search for the color I wanted with ML it was tough to find and I wanted AWD so I was limited to 2009+. I saw two black/black with ML with 18K miles sell in a couple days for $50k which I thought about buying but I wanted white. Both sold in a matter of days at that price.

Marty, you need to give us more detail on the car like options and is it swb or lwb. There is not much change or at all for 2009 model than 08' beside color. I would look at low mi 08' with full option LWB for low $50k or even under, and keep the different for vacation. BTW hope your car pass inspection.

Agreed. If it is in excellent condition including no accidents and no history of mechanical issues, 54k to 55k might be max. Some dealers however, are attempting to make up for the temporary shortage of cars from Japan by asking a premium for used cars in inventory. Good luck.

Marty

After six months of searching...

I purchased my LS460 SWB with 4,900 miles, ML, NAV, & Comfort Package on Jan 3, 2011 for $47K from a Audi, Porshe, MB dealership in south Florida.

Car was pristine and had clear Car-Fax that I verified with local Lexus dealership where car was serviced.

They disclosed that it was a trade-in on a new white S550 for a lady and returning from the auction were the dealership was trying to sell.

I offered what they would get at auction and they took it to get it off the lot.
Sold my 2001 LS430 for $12,000 by owner, so my out of pocket cash on LS460 did hurt that bad.

It was their year-end and they didnt want it parked next to the big MB's and Audi's...so they said.

I check the inventories here in Atlanta periodically, and the dealerships have nothing...so that may explain the up-tick in pricing...

Best of Luck!

I bought my CPO '09 460 L with 21k (ML, Lux pkg, air susp, parking guidance, chrome wheels) for $53.9 in TX and saw prices creep up and supply fall off a bit while I was looking.

This weekend, I bought an 09 LS SWB, Comfort, Lux, Levinson, 19k miles, CPO 5 years/100k for 54k in Dallas. They threw in new Michelins, battery and rear bumper appliqué.

I probably could have saved a few more $$ but it was the only 09 LS in the country with low miles and Black on Alabaster.

Drove it home to Houston Sat. evening and wanted to keep going. WOW! This is a real car. I've been researching the LS for 8 years and finally had my dream realized.

June, go for it! The dealers will budge a bit but if you find the one you want, make your best move. The LS's are moving fast! My first mod will be a Vaistech ML+ USB integration. My iPhone needs to be cranked up on the ML.

BTW-the Levinson system is beyond incredible. Even my daughter's Justin Bieber CD was tolerable. Low end is amazingly crisp and clean.

Good luck!

Congrats rolloman! Glad you are happy with your decision. So, how much time have you already spent cleaning it up?

Yeah my father was looking at a 2009 and the prices were around mid 50K's and that was CPO so that price is crazy when you can get a 2010 up here for that price!

Great find Rolloman and thanks for pics. Which Michelins did they install? Were they quiet? I have Bridgestones but want to switch to Michelins when the time comes but am not sure which style would be best for the LS.
