Driver's side door dent/scrape paint repair costs?
I idiotically scraped my driver's side door on a concrete post yesterday backing out of a spot in a garage 
. Damage is confined to the door, rocker panel, and the plastic of the side mirror. The door panel looks pretty bad - a dent , a scrape, and a deep 1-inch wide scratch running down the whole panel, along with miscellaneous scratches. The rocker panel is a little scraped too and the plastic mirror has some nasty scratches on it. The car is obsidian. I'm guessing they're going to have to respray and blend the whole door panel, rocker panel, and mirror. Arghhhhh! Anyone have an estimate on how much something like this is going to cost?

Well my driver side door got shot by a bb gun and got estimated for $500 (bondo, sand, re-paint). Obviously they don't just repaint the area that was damaged, they try to blend the paint in with the surrounding area.
I said heck no and just filled it in with touch up paint.

Sorry about the rash... I did the same thing to my Civic. I needed to take a dump because of some bad food at restaurant. So I parked as quick as I can, but ended up scraping a metal post. There was a big gash and dent towards the rear quarter fender.
It cost me around 700 bucks to fill with bondo, sand, and repaint.
Your's is alot smaller, Maybe even cheaper.

Ha, shadowman. That sucks! I appreciate the humor of that though. I'm thinking the door and rocker panel will be about 700 and he should be able to remold the mirror for another couple hundred bucks. I'd post pictures but it's dark now and honestly I don't even want to look at it. Just want to drop it off at the shop tomorrow morning and let them work their magic and hopefully get it back as soon as possible and pretend like it never happened. It of course sucks though knowing my wallet will be lighter and I could have used the money toward an fsport exhaust
