Default 1uzfe Turbo Manifolds

I know its not an SC, god forbid... but for those who love the 1uz, here are some of the pics of my manifolds I am building. Since its going in a MK3 Supra, space is SUPER limited... I really wanted to do a 1/3 cyl and 2/4 cyl collector scenrio, but I have to do 1/2 and 3/4 on each bank together. No worries, all of this pumping into a single HX52 should make it scream regardless.

Link to the build thread...

and a couple of pics... a lot more info in the build thread... but to sum it up..

Holset HX52 with billet compressor (GT42+ size)
SS304 SCH10 Manifolds...
4" stainless downpipe into a 4" aluminum exhaust...

Is space as limited as it is in an SC, and in the same places?

interesting MCLAREN alternator..I wonder if its made to do 240mph!!

Nice work there on the manifold, I'm guessing this is a single turbo setup. I don't see room for the A/C compressor with the manifold in the way. Nice start though.

Looks like you have a long way to go. Love to see this thing up and running already!

More room in the SC... but not much. I just didnt see a way to keep all the accessories... so I opt'd for an electric PS pump and a small alternator on the opposite side of the downpipe.

On the SC, you can get away with AC and PS on the SC and relocating the alternator to the front.. and still manage to run a decent downpipe... if you keep the alternator in the normal spot.. you still can, just need a bit of creativity. On the MK3, the frame rails are a little narrower and the engine sits lower so the frame rail is in the spot where it makes it hard to do the manifolds... if the engine sat up an inch or so more, it would be fine... but lower center of gravity the better IMO.

Haha, 240mph alternator... it just happens to be an inch smaller or more.. and a single wire.. makes this a bit easier to deal with. Yeah I got a way to go still, but the manifolds are the hardest part, once its done it will be a walk in the park lol.

Nice job on the manifold...Looks a lot like mine. I see yolu relocated the alternator, and I guess you dumped the AC compressor. Looking good.

haha thanks.

Technically they are all mandrel bent.. im assuming you mean all one piece? not happening, i wanted the structural integrity of SCH10 and you cant bend that stuff in a bender.

Yeah the alternator had to be moved for a 4" downpipe.. and the car didnt come with any of the AC stuff, so I just finished it off.
