I have the "old" RX330 (2006) but a friend has a new 2010 RX350 and wants to know the recommended cold tire pressure?

It should be on a sticker/label on the drivers side door jamb. That's the mfgrs. recommended tire pressure.

As Lexbob mentioned, it's on the drivers door jam for your individual car. If you have 19" rims like most of us it's 32 when cold psi.

lol i havent bothered to check, but the tire monitor reads 35 for my tires, of course this is over inflated by the dealership

Time for me to ask my dumb question - what's the "tire monitor" (is it on the multi-information display?), and how do I get it to show my tire pressure? (It's a Canadian-market 2010 RX 350 with Nav, if that matters.)

"Sensors monitor the air pressure of all four tires and send a signal to alert the driver if the tire pressure falls to a critical level [1]. In some Lexus vehicles, sensors monitor the wheel speed to determine if air pressure has reached a certain threshold. Note [1]: The Tire Pressure Monitor System alerts the driver when tire pressure is critically low. For optimal tire wear and performance, tire pressure should be checked regularly with a gauge; do not rely solely on the monitor system. Please see your Owner's Manual for details."

only the 450h has the readouts of the individual tire pressure. the RX350 does not have the readouts on the multi information display and only has a light on the dash that illuminates when it senses low pressure (though doesnt tell you which tire(s) )

Ah, I see! I saw someone's (Anita's?) posted photo showing tire pressures, and search through the manual and click through menus as I might, I couldn't figure out how to replicate that on my RX 350. Thanks, RXSF!

BCR, it's accessed through the steering wheel on the 450h. Besides not showing the tire pressure in sequence, it tends to read a pound less. Try getting all four to match too I still use the trusty tire gauge.
