LS460 headlamp HID Xenon bulb DS4
Did you ever figure out how to change the xenon HID bulb? I have just ordered two bulbs. I could not bear to pay dealer $400 to change one bulb. They told me it was 2 hours labor to remove the bumper!?!

Lead Lap
I watched my dealership service tech do an oil change and change a headlight bulb on my car in less than 45 mins...he accessed the bulb via the fender lining area with car on the lift and it damn sure didnt take no two hours..$400..>FAIL!! that is almost criminal!! They replaced my bulb under warranty they have genuine philips D4S bulbs on Ebay for $79 a pair or even cheaper

I know this thread is very old, but I finally installed 6000K HID low beam bulbs in my car and it works and looks nice. Since I was working on this, I decided to try and tackle the task of adjusting the low beam a little higher, since it's too low from factory.
I know this subject has been covered here, and I have the PDF file with the adjustment procedure instructions. My question is, how in hell do you get access to the adjustment screw?...
On the driver's side for example, there is this plastic box with an ECU inside it, completely blocking the access to this screw. It's all the way down there, and even with a 2 feet long Phillips screw driver it's impossible to turn it because of the angle. If you have adjusted the low beam, how did you get access to the screw?...
