Default Power Driver Window won't stay up

I've look on threads but did not find this issue. My driver window will go up after activating the switch, that's not the issue. The issue is it will go all the way up until it touches the top but come right back down as if it sensed something is blocking it. It stops half was when it comes down. When I activate the switch for it to go up and press outward slightly on the top of the window until it closes, its stay closed. So, before someone sarcastically suggests I can solve this by pressing the window as it goes up, has anyone experienced this and what was your solution.

Disconnect the battery for a bit. Worth a try.

Have you resolved this issue? Did the re-set fix it?

i've tried to reset the windows as outlined in the manual. it will work properly sometimes by itself -- mostly in the morning after sitting all night but as the day progresses, it acts up; must be a glitch in the system. I can live with it.

How about resetting the window later in the day when it acts up. This will program slightly more torque in the pinch protection sensor.

you need to lube the window run channels and possibly re-calibrate the switch.

i would recommend going to the dealer, they should lube it for you for free. or, go to an auto parts store and pick up a can of silicone spray, dont use WD40, that stuf is junk.
