Default Tensioner pulley replacement?

Squealing sound coming from tensioner pulley with AC on.
Can you just unbolt the pulley & replace the pulley or do you have to replace the whole tensioner unit if the pulley bearings are squealing?
Do the pulley & bearings come together as one part?
I researched the threads on this but didn't find a definite answer.

Thanks. Ya, I figured that would be. I replaced other pulleys on cars, but just the pulley part.

Word of advice - use a Toyota OEM or a Goodyear tensioner. Dayco ones WILL NOT FIT. If you can do so safely and without distorting the original pulley, I would press in a new bearing in the old pulley.

Good to know about Dayco. Are their belts any good?
Can you just remove the old pulley and press in new bearing & reinstall on old tensioner arm?

Dayco pulley still doesn't fit. Autozone is still stocking it claiming it will fit. I showed them that it does not work.... they shrugged, put it back on the shelf and told me to go to Oreillys.

Gates 36119 worked like a champ.

I went to my local Pick n Pull and couldn't crack the tensioner loose so just took the pulley. 3$ vs arounnd 40 for replacing the whole assembly with aftermarket

its a left hand thread so you need to turn it right to crack the bolt off is the only thing different about it.

IIRC, I did this last year and it was just a pulley. Took 10 min.
