Hey Club, I have a 95 GS 300 with about 160,000 miles on it. My mechanic just moved out of the state so im looking for a new lexus mechanic beside the dealer around the LA area...Any SoCal based club members know of any good reasonably priced mechanics in the Los Angeles area ???

Try "International Auto Repair" on the corner of Broadway and Sichel st (In L.A) and ask for a guy named "Ralph" he specializes in Toyotas,Nissans and Hondas...Tell them that "Joel" (That's me) sent you and he may hook you up.

Hey I just bought a used 95 lexus sc300 and just replaced the battery. Whenever I drive it in the morning, the engine dies out and the check engine light, battery light, and oil light come on. I have to turn off the car and restart it; it does this about 3-5 times before it runs fine the entire day. I was wondering if anyone has experienced problems like these before? I'm so frustrated because I just bought the dang thing!

Any feedback is great feedback...also if you know of a great mechanic to take it to, to fix the problem. Thanks!

Is Tho a certified Toyo mechanic too? I would guess that most Lexus techs are also Toyo certified too, no? I need to get my GF's Corolla serviced big time
