I think the way it folds down backward like the Mercedes it will be great. But not this.

The A/T oil temp indicator is now on the multi-display, not just an idiot light.

The TPWS warning message disables the multi-display for the most part, so if you choose to install aftermarket wheels without TPMS sensors, you functionally lose the multi-display unless you punch the button every time you want to see it. It's pretty annoying really. Now it's just another flashing idiot light, but you can see everything else.
you can put all your sensors in your spare tire! thats what i did.

If the answer is YES, get the 2010 with the LSD.

If the answer is NO, get the 2009 and save the money.
If you power out of corners, the LSD will deliver many benefits.

If you drive like an old lady, get the open differential.

Even if powering out of corners, the mechanical LSD will not aid much more than the electronic one on previous model-years. I personally do not believe the mechanical LSD is needed... if anything at all it's just a dead weight, as 99% of F's will never see a track day or outrageous abuse on the public circuit. If a McLaren SLR doesn't need one for street or track use, then I don't think an IS F does.

99% of the time the existing electronic LSD will be fine for driving on public roads. If you are driving public roads at 10/10ths trying to shave off a few seconds from your "lap time" then you have no business driving on the street like that.

All the Porsche 911 variants accept the GT2 and GT3 use an electronic LSD. The new Maclaren MP4-12C Supercar uses an all electronic LSD.
