The 04 and 06 have fairly subtle changes on the interior that make them very slightly different from other models. The 04 had the black birdseye maple and then the 06 of course had a big bowl of neutral colors from the tiger eye mica exterior to all the cappucinos and espressos inside! It's a winter wonderland of BROWN! If you love brown, this is the car for you!!!
+1, I love brown, the 06 PB is my next car, will be parked frequently at Starbucks in honor of the coffee bean Just love the interior !!
If I get one and if I'm in your area, I'll park "Starbucks" next to "Ebony" for photo shoot !! Thanks, SCDROPTOP for all the info, my next car will definitely be a CPO ! I'm a big fan of the big bowl of neutral colors, guess my last car was in the seventies that didn't have neutral hides.
The 2006 is a tigereye mica color, The paint is metalic . What color was the interior. Its
not the two tone color ? Is it
buddy
Camel interior, in 2008 it was the two-tone which I don't care for as much. The 2006 is the car for me !! I have the 06 SC brochure which featured the PB. Carry that around in my briefcase and often refer to it!
The 2008 had the two tone interior with the SMG exterior. Camel/Ecru Mix. I think I posted it earlier in this thread somewhere.
Here is tromly's triple venti caramel frappucino!!!!
You should get one tromly! I don't think we have a 06 PB CL member???
Wonderful pics, now you have me drooling over my new 26" monitor. Question my friend, did only the NM have the number of each vehicle inscribed on the center console plate? Any other PB year have this moniker of exclusiveness ?
Well, there is at least one CL member with the 2006 PB SC - me. My favorite color combo - the paint just gleams in the Houston sun!
Wow, great pics, thanks for sharing. I see you put black mats in your car, problems with keeping the camel colored clean?? Do you use Zaino products on the exterior ?
Black mats are not in the car unless I am expecting some bad weather - the beige mat are difficult to clean and the Pebble mats are hard to find. Don't use Zaino products - mostly Meguiar's. I like the Mother's California Gold detailer on a daily basis. WOrks great, smells great.
Yeah!!! PB'ers are coming out of the woodwork!!! Thanks for sharing and chiming in fellow Texas PB'er!! I'm in Dallas. There is not a 06 PB that I've seen in Dallas, believe me I look for them all the time. There are a couple of 2004 Blue, one or two 2007, I have the one 2005 and some 2008's and 2009's I'm sure.
There was a listing on eBay a few days ago for an extra set of PB camel mats. Just my recommendation based on my search for PB parts, mats, etc---BUY THEM NOW! In fact you could use your tan old mats for rainy days and use the new camel mats for "date night" or whenever you want to show off your car more.
Your car is SWEET. I'm falling more and more in love with all the PB's now that I have one. Yeah, the two tone interior on the 08 would have been pretty obnoxious on your car...the solid camel is very nice!
There were two listings on eBay for these mats. Not sure now...
