That sounds like a darn good idea. Maybe I can also talk my neighbor into caravaning to Big D with me in his LS also..... he can put his politico magnetic signs on the side of his car; BTW this guy just announced that he will "officially announce" next week to run as the $1 Governor of Texas.

Update: Dealer called today (Fri.) and advised there is not a replacement valve spring anywhere in the united States.
They are ordering one from Japan, and he said it might be 18 days before it arrives.
Guess I'll get real acquainted with the ES350 before this is all over with.

wtf?! 18 days?! i am not sure if it's acceptable by my book. so are they going to pay for your car for 18 days then?! that's more than half a month

I am surprised.
Maybe you can talk them into pulling one out from an engine waiting on the assembly line in San Antonio and then "hotshot" it to DFW. It is sad but you can make lemonade from the lemon ES, the mileage driven on the ES wouldn't accumulate into the lease allowables.
