The flyer came from Lexus of Concord, where I bought my car. I only receive flyers from them and no other Lexus dealer. I am guessing there is some agreement that lexus dealers don't poach customers with existing relationships. I wish they would.

As for your second question, the maps & POIs were updated in conjunction with the "I Agree" change. I think the update version was 7.1, but that may be different in the DVD based Gulf cars. Ask your dealer as their information may be more reliable than our discussion here. Good Luck!
So, can we confirm that the 9.1 update will contain the "I Agree" removal?

Thanks!

The 7.1 update's most significant change was the removal of the "I Agree" screen, replacing it with a 5-second flash warning. As this was a burr in the Lexus saddle, I can say with great confidence they will not chance a reversal to their previously flawed ideology.

As the update comes on a USB drive and the drive is accessible, as is the diagnostic menu.... is there any reason why one couldn't obtain the USB device online from Sewell Lexus Parts then apply it myself, or does it require the dealer computer?

Thank you

I just received a flyer in the mail for the 9.1 update, cost $199. The flyer has a Torrence, CA return address and I live in PA, so I assume it's Lexus Corporate advertisement.

Can anyone list the changes in 9.1? For $199, they are now getting close to my trip point for updating my 2007 LS

I just received the same in the mail.

Although not very specific on changes it says over six million miles of road and roughly 8 million points of interest, including ATMs, restaurants, hotels and gas stations.

Over 120 expanded cities or metropolitan areas.

I have an 07 as well but will wait at least another year to update mine.

The flyer I received has an asterisk after the $199*
