Default Side View Mirror

Hi everyone. Sometime ago some a-hole ripped off the mirror glass on the passenger side of my 1998 GS300. I've been trying to find a replacement, and spent ~$130 on a replacement glass, only to find the motor was missing the attachment plate. Well, after going through threads, buying a motor and internal parts off an 01-05 for $55 only to learn the hard way they were different, so now I'm a bit frustrated. All I need is a replacement motor/backing plate. I don't want or need any puddle lights or LED's. I am no longer driving the car, as my mom essentially stole it from me (it has nav, and my 528i doesn't) and it's been without a right side mirror for MONTHS. Does anyone know what I can do at this point? My local dealer (Cerritos Lexus) only sells the whole mirror or just the glass, but not the motor separate. I can see why after looking at an 01-05 housing. Is there a list of cross-matching motors, like maybe from a 1st gen GS or some other dealer that might have just the motor? Here's what the innards look like now:
